It's been rumored for quite some time now that WWE was going to be looking for a new home for SMACKDOWN. After today's reports, it looks to be true with Friday's show looking to move over to the USA NETWORK in October of 2024!
According to an "X" from @ArielHelwani: Smackdown will move from Fox to USA Network in October 2024, per a release just issued. New five-year deal. Also of note, per the release, “beginning in the 2024/25 season, WWE will produce four primetime specials per year that will air on NBC, marking the first time WWE will air on the network in primetime.” The release adds that “WWE Monday Night Raw and WWE NXT will continue to air on USA Network through September 2024.”
